DWYPD ACTION STAKEHOLDER-DRIVEN DIALOGUE ON GENDER EQUALITY AND FINANCIAL INCLUSION.
PRETORIA: The Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, together with Standard Bank South Africa, will host the G20 Women to Africa Collaborative Eco-systems for Successful and Resilient Women Businesses Dialogue on Friday, 29 August 2025, in celebration of Women’s Month.
The G20 Women to Africa Collaborative Eco-systems for Successful and Resilient Women Businesses Dialogue will convene leading voices from across Africa and the diaspora, public and private sectors, to drive coordinated action to promote women leadership and economic empowerment as part of fostering solidarity, equality, and sustainability.

As South Africa hosts the G20 on African soil for the first time, the G20 Women to Africa dialogue marks a defining moment to spotlight women as catalysts of Africa’s economic transformation. To drive investment, partnerships, and solutions to ensure women-led businesses are positioned to thrive. To elevate the G20 Empowerment of Women Working Group (EWWG) activities and ministerial recommendations. South Africa will foster multistakeholder collaboration for impact and strengthen partnerships across sectors.
